Nick YoungNick grew up dancing at his mom's dance studio, Young Dance Academy, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, training in all styles of dance. His career started at 9 years old when he toured with country music star, Kenny Rogers, performing in his nationwide Christmas tour for 3 years. He has trained under tap dancers such as Danny Wallace, Chloe Arnold, Mark Goodman, and Ayodele Casel, and has performed with Danny for the "Tap City" tap festival in New York City. He most recently was showcased on the FOX hit TV show, So You Think You Can Dance as one of Season Eight's Top 20 dancers, specializing in Tap. After choreographing for the show's finale, Nick went on to tour the country with the top 10 dancers on the show. After tour, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career in acting and dance. When not performing, Nick is in high demand as a tap teacher and choreographer. He travels the country using his unique style of blending intricate rhythms with smooth movement to spread his love for tap dance, and has caught the eyes of many teachers and professionals across the US.
