Lauren Gaul

A Radio City Rockette for nine years, Lauren toured to Detroit, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, and performed in New York at the famous Radio City Music Hall.  As a Rockette she was one of the first teachers of the Rockette Experience and was a Rockette Swing for three years.  As a Rockette she performed in other events such as: The Columbus Day Parade, The America’s Day Parade, the Amtrak Whistle Stop Tour and many more.  Lauren trained on scholarship with Gus Giordano in Chicago, and received her Degree in dance performance from the prestigious OCU dance program under the direction of Jo Rowan. 

After 10 years as a professional dancer/teacher/choreographer in New York, she returned to pursue her MFA in dance performance/teaching at Purchase College SUNY.  There she was invited to choreograph for the Purchase Dance Company Nutcracker ’10, and has been teaching in the Purchase College SUNY School of the Arts as well as the Conservatory of Dance as a graduate teaching assistant.  She has performed works by Mark Morris, Daniel Nagrin, Joyce Trisler, Pedro Ruiz, Jonathan Riedel, Max Stone, and Anna Sokolow in the MFA concerts.   She was an Adjunct Professor of dance at Pace University for two years. Her other teaching credits include: Oklahoma City University, Broadway Dance Center, The New Dance Group, Perry Mansfield Performing Arts camp, Belvoir Terrace Performing Arts camp, DMA regional conventions, Dance Xplosion regional and national conventions., Encore national conventions, the Arts Council of PA’s National Dance Week convention and many more.  

Lauren’s choreography has been seen in industrials for companies like Sesame Street, Lady Footlocker, IZOD and many more.  She has also created pieces for The Broadway Dance Center Performance Outlet, Jazz Dance World Congress, Jacob’s Pillow Inside Out Performance Series and many more.  Her choreography is most recently being performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center for the Edna Y. Schwartz Scholarship Foundation Gala Concert and the Pace University Spring Dance Concert. 

Lauren has assisted Rhonda Miller on setting numerous productions around the country like: CHICAGO (Maine State Musical Theater), Cinematastic (Princess Cruise Lines), Torched (Down Town Theater Festival), Broadway Bares Equity Fights AIDS, The Elan Awards and many more. She also danced for Rhonda in many shows like: Dance Break (SSDC), The Elan Awards, and Nothing Like A Dame to name a few.
