Gregg HurleyGregg Hurley earned his MFA in dance from the University of Arizona School of Dance and BA in dance from Hofstra University. Gregg is a full-time Lecturer in Dance at Messiah College where he is leading the development of its growing dance program. Hurley is also the artistic director of the dance/performance group, HurleyInMotion. Most recently, HIM premiered a new work, The White Stone Project in Suffern, NY. His current free-lance choreographic endeavours include; Finding Gravity, Babes In Arms, The Fantasticks, A Year with Frog and Toad, Annie, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Singin’ in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Bye Bye Birdie, and Carousel. Gregg has performed internationally in the musical revue, The Best of Broadway and nationally in The 50th Anniversary tour of Oklahoma! He has also performed as the Cow Skull in the world premiere production of Georgia O’Keefe: A Woman On Paper. He spent over eleven years as the resident choreographer and assistant director at Sight and Sound Theatres where he was creatively involved in the premiere productions of Abraham and Sarah, Daniel, Ruth, Psalms of David, In the Beginning, and Voices of Christmas. Gregg proudly and joyfully collaborates in life and on stage with his wife, Susan. Their two favorite works in progress are Keegan (13) and Nathan (11). |
